Coffee and cookies

"Traditional english morning". Sitting front of tv before work and wrapped into a big blanket. Instead of eggs and bacon I'm eating cookies (I literally don't have food in my fridge right now) and trying to warm up with hot coffee. (As I'm living in england I think I should taste the traditional english breakfast aswell, but I do like fish n chips!)

Fact is that the winter coming, it's getting colder and colder every morning, but still normally during afternoon sun warms up a little bit and you can take off yout jacket.

I'm up again two hours early, so I've lots of time to plan my day. I'm always trying to get myself ready before 10.00 as then I like to just lay on the sofa, and relax before running to work. I love british tv, even in the mornings you can find something to watch, right now Ugly Betty is on, and after that I have time to start Desperate housewiwes before getting out to the rain.

I'm feeling depressed and tierd after noticing that summer is finished now for good, and what makes it even worse that I was talking with Roosa yesterday (My friend who lives in Malta) and she was telling how there have been so hot last couple of weeks and she wants it to get colder so she can wear "winter shoes". (In Malta winter shoes are something like Converse, or any kind of sneakers actually.) I'm just thinking how great it would be to get there for couple days before accepting that winter is about to start.

Well we all have to accept that winter is here sooner or later (Even in Malta!) But in the meanwhile we can plan all the things we have to get, think about all those layers and strong colors. Actually winter is pretty good reason to shop double as much as you have to keep yourself warm right?

Ps. Jeans: vero moda, scarf: gucci, bracelets: small from swarowski and shamballa as gift, watch: guess, old good bag: jimmy choo

RUN DMC

Back in he business.

It's been long long time since I had my last T-shirt painting project. Couple months ago one of my colleagues came up with an idea of a top he would like to have. He saw couple of my works before, so he asked if I would like to desing it for him. Inspiration for the shirt was to do my own desing of the basic RUN DMC shirt, I had clear idea straight away as I actually did one top for myself with the same idea couple years ago.

I loved the whole thing, and I got the paints during the next week. ( I was so excited to paint again!) After a while he brought me plain black T-shirt to paint on, and last month at last I took some time to finish my work.(I'm always too busy to sit down...) I hope he likes it and thinks it was worth of waiting.

So here it is, new owner of my desing. He's now the fift person having top painted by me. (Haha) Just to explain, on the back is my hmmm so called signature. (Which I started to use after I got it tattooed behind my ear)

Ps. I love RUN DMC and while painting this tee I played their CD over and over again for those couple days. Haha I love adidas too!

Swarowski

Diamonds are the girls best friend. If you can't have some crystals do fine.

Every morning (at least every second) I'm leaving my nose prints on swarowski's window near my work. (you know what I mean by that!) I'm like magpie, loving evrything shiny.I never brought anything from there before, but couple weeks ago I got this cute (cute!) bracelet.

I think it's the shiniest thing in my jewellery box right now, and I wear it everyday even tho lots of people would say it's just for some kind of ocassions. What I say is that with that money I spent for it -it should be worn everysingle day till the will drop off! (And if that happens in next couple years I'm going to get a new one as these pretty crystals do have insurance included on the price! Heh!)

Every girl deserves her diamonds (or crystals) As they say "You are worth it!"

Burberry

Once again about my expencive dreams.

During this month I've been running after perfect winter coat, I even bought one (actually my mum did during my last visit in Finland, thx mum xx) But it's still not the perfect one I'm looking for, hehe..

I'm getting biggest inspirations for a coat from Burberry. As every winter they got the whole collection of the most amazing outerwear you can just dream about. (Yes, just dream, mostly because of the prices hah)
Here's small example for you about a real dream coat.

Anyway my dream jacket for this winter would be oversized quite masculin coat, I found really pretty ones in Mango. Those ones were like oversized thick blazers (Actually I'm talking about this one right now). Also important thing would be some massive buttoms on the front (maybe gold ones to bring the military look?) and the most important point would be that the jacket matches my leather gloves! (haha!) Also I could  bring up again the jacket from Hermés I did put a picture of couple weeks ago. (Look flowers for winter)

I know any of those coats I pointed out are not exaclty what I just described, and that's the reason I'm still looking. (Am I just too specific?)

Anyway I'll let you know when I've found my dream jacket -with a good price.Cu!

Original picture is Burberry add in Vogue from couple months ago.

Last couple days.

Back in London once again.

First I would love to say big thanks for my friend Anni who saved my last night (Thursday) in Finland. I mean this is the reason why I keep going to Finland all the time, -sit down in some small pub (Gringo!) to tell and hear all the latest gossips.

Yes she's the girl I'm talkin about, and that's the best place to enjoy your evening in Turku. (Just letting you know if you never get lost there.)

It have been the same as always since I got back home. Basically everything been normal, work, home, sleep, shopping.
Ohh yeah, and Finnair lost my luggage... Those *****.... When I arrived to Heatrow airport  I noticed that my luggage wasn't there. They told me sorry and that I should be receive it by post during next day, well this didn't happen so I kept calling the number they gave me. At last my luggage arrived to Heatrow during sunday and my boyfriend went to pick it up. Only thing I can say is that I got mental when I heard about loosing my luggage, and nobody can believe how happy I was after getting it back.

So all good now, but to be honest I don't know if I'm going to trust Finnair with my luggage anymore... And I might be thinking twice before I pack any expencive bags for short visits...

ANYWAY, I think I'm going to spent rest of my evening with lots of finnish chocolate (which is actually swedish, love marabou) and tv.

Good night!

Thursday 6 September 2012

Hi it's me!

Once again I'm here visiting home! Finland is getting colder day after day, but while I've been here the sun is smiling and snow is staying there where it belongs. (Somewhere with santa, anyway far from me.)

So my holiday is lasting four days -from tuesday till tomorrow friday-, and my days are flying. I've got some new friends, and my old frieds have had some pretty kool news for me. (which I'm not going to share with you, sorry)

Also I've noticed that my friends are getting "old" (me as well, sadly) as there've been all kind of happy news around. (YOU KNOW) I must admit that this holiday have surprised me more than I would never expect. People are moving to their first own houses, getting babies and dogs and stuff.. Huhh while me and all my friends in London are just starting life? Can it be so different between these two cities? Honestly I'm more or les shocked after this visit. Anyway I'm happy for all those who have made the choice to settle up and plan the future, saving money for it and so on. I'm just looking forward to figure out where I'm going to go next and what's my next move for my big plans.

Funniest thing between London and Turku is, that all my friends here are living in their own flats, in relationship, working or studying for future. While in London my friends who are around my age are still living at home, partying every weekend and working next to studies to get some money to spent for shopping or clubbing. I think it's about the people around you who make you think you going to live for ever, and you too young to think about your future? I'm not saying that I don't care about myself, but right now I would prefer to buy fresh new bag than putting the money on save for a house? I don't even have saver account for a house, I've saver account for my new winter boots?

People are so different.

Anyway! Last day to go, I'm going now to see my friend who seems to be the only one around here not caring if she is having hangover tomorrow at work, as there's nothing better that friends who haven't heard all the gossips from the last three months!

xoxo Leena
