So much can happen in such a short time.

I've spend the most amazing two weeks, and must admit I'm loving it. I've been seeing more and more of my old friends, and keep meeting up new great people.

Today was the first rainy day since I arrived, but I actually don't mind. People are putting on their winter jackets on the evenings which I see as too much, it's still at least +23 degrees most of the time. I also had my first propa party weekend last weekend, and now looking up for the next one.

I still enjoy my work (that's good after just two weeks haha) and keep finding online job more and more interesting after learning more about it.

So Halloween is here and I keep spotting people celebrating for it, even saw couple of cute trick and treaters on my way to buy some food. Me, I'm not planning to dress up or do anything else different than normal, just go out and see some more old friends.

How's Halloween over to the other places? Painting your faces or just putting on your highest heels?
Happy Halloween to everybody, hope you have some good weekend!

Ps. If  bad hangover hits you, I can say that there's no better way to cure it than go and swim on the sea! Tried it!

It's still summer here.

What's up people?

So my first week in Malta is nearly over, and can say it's been really good!

Must say that one of the biggest positive surprises have been how easy everything's been, and even the weather is great even it's late October.

I needed to stay in a hotel only for two nights as I found apartment in Sliema straight away, I got NI number sorted and starting to work on next Monday. Now I'm just looking forward to get my maltese ID so it will be easier to open bank account, and also to receive some discounts on travelling.

I do have problems with my internet connection tho, so updating here's a bit hard, will do my best!

So life's is smiling, we'll see how long it lasts!

Finland-London-Malta

(this is been updated day late as I noticed the airport wifi apparently stopped working while publishing it yesterday evening)

Just a super quick update!

I'm still alive even I haven't been updating here for ages. Right now I'm waiting on the airport at the gate 33 to get into the plane, hopefully in time.

So now I'm about to go to London where I stay for a week, after this I got flight to Malta where I'm ment to start from fresh.

I'll do my best to update you a bit more often, but there's been going on so many things that I find it hard to actually sit down and write. To get more often updated information of my goings follow me on instagram @leenajvp.

Past week have been just packing and partying.

I'm so tierd after all this been going on, but at last I can say that everything is done. My poor flat looks so sad being empty, but well tomorrow I need to give out my keys. Saddest part of movin abroad is that you need to throw/give away most of your stuff.

Good part of all this is that my mum and sister arrived yesterday to London and now I'm staying in the hotel with them. Ahhhh I love hotels! It is just hard to realize that Sunday evening I'll be back to Finland, and left London for good (for now). Tho I do hope that you will enjoy my up comin Malta diaries!

Viikko on kulunut juhlimisen ja pakkaamisen sekamelskassa.

Oon niiiin Väsynyt kaiken tämän säädön jälkeen, mutta nyt ainakin voin sanoa, että kaikki asiat on vihdoin hoidettu. Harmittaa vaan nähdä kämppä ihan tyhjänä kaikesta mun roinasta, mutta huomenna jo pitää luovuttaa avaimet. Ikävin asia maiden välillä muuttamisessa on se, että joutuu heittämääm/lahjoittamaan melkeinpä suurimman osan tavaroistaan pois.

Hyviä puolia tällä hetkellä taas on se, että mun äiti ja sisko saapuivat Lontooseen eilen, mikä taas tarkoittaa sitä, että yövyn hotellissa. Aahhh rakastan hotelleja! On vaan niin outoa tajuta, että sunnuntaina saavun Suomeen ja jätän Lontoon taakseni (joksikin aikaa). Toivottavasti tosin tulette nauttimaan mun tulevista Malta päivityksistä!

Ama La Vida.

As I told you on my last post I got my new tattoo done today!

So I got spanish words "Ama La Vida" (Love life) tattooed on my arm, this is to describe my last two years and especially the last few months in London. I'm totally in love with my new tattoo and the big meaning of it to me.

I would love to mention that Antony in Evil From The Needle is great script tattooist, and the job was done quick and gently!

So what do you think?

Kuten viime postauksessa mainitsinkin, niin kävin tänään ottamassa uuden tatuoinnin!

Elikkäs, otin käsivarteen sanat "Ama La Vida" (Love life), tämä kuvaa mun kahta vuotta Lontoossa, ja varsinkin muutamaa viime kuukautta. Oon täysin rakastunut tähän uuteen tatuointiini ja sen merkitykseen mulle.

Haluaisin myös mainita, että Antony Evil From The Needlessä on loistava tekstien tatuoija, työ hoitui nopeasti ja hellästi, sekä tulos on mahtava!

Ps. At last I started packing and separating my stuff! Lots of clothes going for charity and lots of stuff given/sold to my friends. Teehee!

Exiting days, last minute shopping and other things I must do before moving!

Today I woke up early to go to Camden to book time for a tattoo in Evil from the needle. I'm so happy that I got up to do this at last and now I'm having a time for this Friday! Can't wait!

I also went to get my long wanted sneakers from Nike, and now I'm fresh new happy owner of pair of white hightop Airforce ones. Yayyy what a day, love it! Now I'm about to cook something nice and relax rest of the day with some tv.

Viimehetken shoppailua ja kaikkea muuta mitä pitää tehdä ennen muuttoa!

Tänä aamuna heräsin aikaisin mennäkseni Camdeniin ja varatakseni tatuointi ajan Evil from the needlestä. Oon niin onnellinen, että viimeinkin sain aikaiseksi mentyä sinne, ja nyt mulla on aika perjantaiksi!

Myöhemmin suuntasin ostamaan kauan halutut sniiksit Nikeltä, ja nyt siis olen uusi onnelinen Airforce one kenkien omistaja! Aivan ihana päivä, nyt aion vaan tehdä ruokaa ja rentoutua tv:n äärellä.

Week update.

I have actually started to think about my moving, can't believe I got only two weeks left in London!  I've been going out so much with all my friends to forget the fact that I will not see them for a long while. Anyway I'm still looking forward for all the new experiences!

Anyway, here's my past week!

Oon vihdoin alkanut miettimään edessä olevaa muuttoa. On vaikea uskoa, että muutan pois Lontoosta jo parin viikon päästä! Oon käynyt paljon ulkona ihan vaan nauttiakseni loppuajasta täällä, sekä tietty nähdäkseni mahdollisimman monia kavereita. Vaikka mulla tulee olemaan kova ikävä Lontoota niin odotan innolla kaikkia uusia kokemuksia!

Anyway, tässä olisi mun viime viikko lyhyesti.

Last Saturday I went to my friends birthday party. It was great to join this houseparty, we drank and danced a lot, thanks guys!

Viime lauantaina menin kaverin synttärijuhliin. Oli ihana päästä taas koti bileisiin, ja kyllä, joimme ja tanssimme koko yön. Mahtavaa, kiitos!

Sunday I went to National gallery. I enjoyed that day a lot as I got lots of new inspiration for drawing! Sadly you're not allowed to take pictures in there so here some street act in Trafalgar square haha.

Sunnuntaina menin Natonal galleryyn. Oli ihana katsella sitä taiteen paljoutta ja saada uutta inspiraatiota piirtämiseen. Ikävä kyllä siellä ei saa kuvata, joten tässä olisi katu esiintyjä Trafalgar squarella haha.

Tuesday I ment to have this girls night in with my friend but we ended up walking to Dalston for a night out. Was much fun even it was quiet.

Tiistaina oli tarkoitus viettää tyttöjen ilta kotona, mutta päädyttiin kuitenkin kävelemään Dalstoniin. Oli hauska kierrellä uusia paikkoja vaikka olin hiljaista.

I cooked us big meal with BBQ chicken and rice. Yumm.

Today I'm having my day off and saw one of my friends again with her daughter. We had a little walk in the park and ate nice meal in Venedi. Now I'm so full and ready to get sleep after shower. I can't wait for the weekend as I'm having my leaving party pt 1 and 2. Hehe gonna be amazing!

Tänään mulla on vapaapäivä ja se tuli vietettyä kaverin ja hänen tyttörensä kanssa. Käytiin puistossa kävelyllä ja syötiin herkullinen ateria Venedissa. Nyt oo liian täynnä ja valmis nukkumaan suihkun jälkeen. Odotan innolla viikonloppua, sillä pidetään osat 1 ja 2 mun läksiäis juhlista. Hehe tulee olemaan hauskaa!

Running around.

What a great feeling yesterday after a run. Honestly I've been too busy/lazy to do anything lately so it't good that I ended up with the idea of jogging with my friend. I haven't been running with somebody for ages so it gave me this boost I needed.

We ran/walked in the park near me for hour and then stopped to do some excercise. After this when we got to my place we ate lots of fruits with natural yogurt and talked through all the gossips. Can't wait for the next time!

Mikä mahtava fiilis eilen lenkin jälkeen. Oon ollut viimeaikoina aivan liian kiireinen/laiska treenatakseni ollenkaan, joten onneksi saatiin idea lenkille lähdöstä kaverin kanssa. Oon juossut yleensä aina yksin, mutta lennkiseura antoi juuri sen kannustuksen mitä tarvitsin.

Me juostiin/käveltiin ympäriinsä mun läheistä puistoa sekä kanaalia, ja kaiken päätteeksi jäätiin nurmikolle tekemään lihasharjoituksia. Kun päästin mun luokse syötiin iso läjä hedelmiä luonnon jogurtin kera sekä käytiin läpi kaikki viimeisimmät juorut. Nyt tuskin maltan odottaa seuraavaan kertaan!

I have small announcement for you guys: I'm moving out of UK. I'll be staying in London for month and then I'll fly to Finland.  Don't think tho that I will move back there, noo, I'm going to be moving to Malta! I decided that I need a break of busy and stressed life so what would a better way than heading to this small island I love?

Anyway as I'm starting to feel like my time here is running out so I'm enjoying my life full. Even this weekend I've had amazing time with my girls again and we ended up for a big party to Rise. Today we had my traditional after the party Shoreditch day. This means going to the food market and cocktails.  As I haven't been writing that much lately due work I haven't even told you about my last weekend yet... Well it was quite amazing as one of my friends had this rooftop party in Shoreditch (sadly I haven't got picture from there as I took one eith my friends phone, you can find it from Instagram tho, @leenajvp). Actually, I would say that I'm going to miss London a lot! Now I'm back home and about to falling in sleep. We will see what's happening on next weekend!

Ilmoitus asiaa: oon muuttamassa pois Lontoosta. Aion asustella täällä vielä kuukauden, jonka jälkeen lennän Suomeen. Älkää tosin luulko, että jään sinne, sillä muutan siitä seuraavaksi Maltalle! Oon tehnyt päätöksen, että tarvitsen tauon yli stressaavasta elämästä, joten mikä olisi parempi tapa kuin suunnata rakkaalle pikku saarelle?

Anyway, nyt alkaa tuntua siltä, että aika Lontoossa vähenee päivä päivältä, joten olenkin nauttinut tästä kaupungista täysin rinnoin. Tänä viikonloppunakin päädyin juhlimaan tyttöjen kesken keskustaan Riseen. Tänään taas tuli vietettyä jälleen perinteinen palautumis päivä Shoreditchissa, eli siis ruokatoreja ja cocktaileja. Tajusin myös juuri, että koska en kiireiden takia ole paljon ehtinyt tänne kirjoitella, en ole edes kertonut vielä viime viikonlopusta. Lauantaina olin kaverin "koti bileissä" jotka järjestettiin katolla Shoreditchissa ja sanonpa vaan, että oli mahtavat juhlat (kuvia ei ikävä kyllä tähän hätään ole sillä se yksi ja ainoa on kaverin puhelimessa. Löydät sen kuutenkin instagramista @leenajvp). Pakko myöntää, että kyllä tulee Lontoota ikävä!  Saapa nähdä mitä ensi viikonloppuna keksin!
