How was you Easter?

London was crazy last night.

I went for couple to Greenman with my girls  last nigh (after work). By midnight we found ourselves from Leicester square. That was probably the best Easter ever. But you know how confusing it is when you're walking to the bus stop and you realize that the time has been changed. I had no idea about this and when chinese place tells you they've closed at four you make yoursef looking dumb by start complaining that it's just half three. Hehe, well luckily there's 24/7 subway which serves cold subs even after four.

Lähettiin yksille Greenmaniin työporukalla. Niin no, keskiyöhön mennessä löydettiin itsemme Leicester squarella. Todennäköisesti paras Pääsiäinen ikinä. Pakko vaan sanoa, että tulee aika oudot fiilikset kun kotimatkalla tajuaa ajan vaihtuneen. En nimittäin tiennyt tästä ollenkaan, ja siinä vaiheessa kun kiinalaisesta ilmotetaan, että ne on sulkenut neljältä niin mehän fiksuina tyttöinä pädetään, että kellohan on vasta puoli neljä. No onneksi vastaan tuli 24/7 Subway mistä sai kylmiä subeja myös neljän jälkeen.

I heard that here people don't like to play these. Finnish people are so addicted with poker an fruit games. Mhehh.

We made even our bartender laugh. These blurry photos are just brilliant!

4 am, people dancing on the street.

Today I'm just focusing on resting and eating chocolate eggs. (my mom brought from Finland)  Well I did go out for walk/run as it's so nice weather, quite proud of myself on a day after night out haha.

Tänään keskityn vaan lepäämiseen ja suklaamunien syömiseen. (äiti toi Suomesta) tai no, kävin mä lenkillä aikasemmin. Oon aika ylpee ittestäni näin koko yön juhlimisen jälkeen haha.

With camera, or without.

Had a day off yesterday.

I ended up to spend my day around Oxford street again, a bits of shopping. I went to look for temporary perfume and that's what I got. I ran out of my old Perfume so I just wnted to pick up some small bottle of something I've been thinking to buy before so I ended up with Nina from Nina Ricci.

After all day walking we went to eat in Nando's. I never ate there before but I had to try as everybody keeps saying that  they're making the best chicken around here. To be honest it wasn't that great I expected but well, chicken is always good.

Didn't find my new "cheap pocket camera" yet but sure I'll find it soon. Even without propa camera I still got some pictures for you so enjoy the quality of Blackberry! (with camera I would have more tho... I should stop killing them...)

Olipa kerran vapaapäivä.

Eilinen tuli vietettyä Oxford streetin läheisyydessä, sillä lähdin hakemaan väli-aikais hajuvettä. Vanha hajuvesi loppui vähän kesken ja tarvisin jonkun luotettavan vaihtoehdon ja nopeasti, päädyin siis Nina Riccin Ninaan. 

Päivän lopuksi mentiin vielä syömään Nando'siin. En ole ikinä ennen syönyt siellä, mutta koska olen useamman kerran saanut kuunnella kuinka sieltä saa maailman parhaat kanaruuat, niin olihan sitä pakko kokeilla. Rehellisesti sanottuna ei ollut kummoiset safkat, mutta kana nyt on aika hyvää.

En vielä törmännyt mun "halpaan taskukameraan" , mutta varmasti löydän sen pian! Joka tapauksessa, mulla on teille pari kuvaa eilisestä, nauttikaa siis mahtavasta Blackberry laadusta! (olisi enemmän jos tosiaan olisi se kamera... Pitäisi varmaan lopettaa niiden rikkominen...)

I know, ordering a ceasar salad in the "the best chicken place" is so wrong... But who cares.

Breakfast at Tiffany's

Coming from work all dead and tierd, and then, what you see waiting for you! Small parcel from Amazon.com! Yayy I know what I'm doing tonight!

Best thing is that I kind of forgot that I ordered this movie. You know one day I just felt like I want to watch Breakfast at Tiffany's, and as I wanted to buy that movie for a while I just ordered it.

Love it, this just saved my day!

Ps. Ohh yeah... I'm so excited that I forgot, orange juice bottle oppened in my bag today, inside of the bag is now yellow and my camera is broken. Soo no good pictures till I either fix my camera or get a new one...

Saavut kotiin töistä, oot kuoleman väsynyt ja valmis nukkumaan, mutta mikä odottaakaan ovella? Amoazon.com paketti! Nyt ainakin tiedän miten vietän tän illan!

Kaikkein parasta tässä on se, että unohdin tilanneeni tän leffan. Kyllä tiedätte mitä tarkotan -heräteostos. Kaiken lisäks mun on jo pitkään pitänyt ostaa Breakfast at Tiffany's, joten voiko parempaa "yllätystä" ollakkaan?

Yksi lemppari elokuvista, niin paras päivän pelastus!

Ps. Ainiin... Olin niin innostunut, että unohdin kokonaan... Mulla aukes appelsiini mehu pullo laukussa tänään ja nyt mun laukku on sisältä keltanen ja kamera rikki. Ei siis hyviä kuvia vähään aikaan. (siihen asti, että joko kamera herää eloon tai hankin uuden...)

Never trust the weather or the women.

I mean hei guys, for real. Don't know about the women but heyyy what's happening with the weather? It's coming to Easter and then it starts to snow again?

One day I was following how we went trough all the seasons in one hour. No lie, it was nice and sunny, you got your sunglasses on and just when you're about to take your jacket off it starts to snow. Well that's not all, soon the snow turns to water and then this really strong wind starts to turn everybody's umbrellas upside down. Luckily I was following this fom our staff room while eating lunch.

Well my point anyway is that now should be nice and warm, a bit of rain but you won't need to wear your winter jacket just in the case if it's going to snow.

Sanoi kerran vanha viisas britti.

Hei ihan oikeesti, naisista en tiedä mutta mikä tätä säätä vaivaa?  Pääsiäinen saapuu ja taas sataa lunta?

Yks päivä seurasin sivusta kun käytiin läpi kaikki vuodenajat tunnin sisään. No lie, ekaksi oli oikein kivaa ja aurinkoista, oot laittanut arskat päähän ja just kun mietit takin riisumista alkaakin sataa lunta.  Noo eipä siinä kaikki, pian lumi vaihtuu sateeksi ja sitten vielä iskee kiva tuuli joka kääntää kaikkien sateenvarjotkin nurin. Onneksi tse istuin tällöin turvassa lounas tauolla ja seurasin tapahtumia ikkunan toiselta puolen.

Asian pointti on se, että nyt pitäis olla jo lämmintä... Tai ainakaan sun ei kuuluis pukea talvitakkia päälle siltä varalta, että lumimyrsky iskee.

How to prepare yourself  for the british weather.

It's not easy being blonde.

I have been in a hair dresser about five years ago the last time. Naturally My hair is this light brown colour which is very normal for finnish people, this sadly means ugly roots coming up every couple month.

Last five years I've had my trusted hair colour Blonde from Swartzkopf, sadly I havent't found this one from London till now... Solution: bring it from Finland every time you go for visit, and/or dye your hair there. Well last time somehow I forgot to take this life saving box with me and this means I had to go and buy some other colour from Boots. I ended up with this one called Feria from Loreal... Not succes...

My hair feels nice and soft, the colouring cream smelled nice and everything. Anyway the most important, now after washing my hair I still can see my roots and the cream did't dye some parts at all (Notice: Parts I actually always put a lot of the cream), very disappointed... Lets be positive anyway - it's better than it was. At least it's not bright yellow or green... I've gone trough that aswell before finding the right brand.

Haha well I'll be fine with these half dyed roots till May, till I get home to buy my Blonde. I don't believe I would try any other colour after this.

En ole käynyt kampaajalla noin viiteen vuoteen. Luonnollisesti mun hiukset on ne perus suomalaiset maantienruskeet ja tämän takia olenkin blondannut ties kuinka kauan, nyt taas kärsin parin kuun välein rumasta tyvikasvusta.

Viimeiset viis vuotta olen luottanut Swartzkopfin Blondeen, ikävä kyllä en ole vielä sitä Lontoon kaupoista löytänyt... Ratkaisu: tuo paketti Suomesta siellä käydessä ja/tai värjää hiukset siellä. Viime kerralla kuitenkin unohdin tämän tärkeän paketin ja jouduin viime viikolla valitsemaan uuden värin Bootsin hyllyltä. Päädyin Lorealin Feriaan, ja nyt olen syvästi pettynyt...

Hiukset tuntuu pehmeiltä ja näyttää kiiltäviltä, mutta tärkein jäi sillä pystyn edelleen näkemään mun tyvikasvun, sekä paikoin väri ei ole tarttunut ollenkaan (huom. Puhun kohdista joihin sitä väriä pistän aina tietoisesti paljon)... No, mutta ollaan positiivisia, on tä sentään parempi kuin mitä se oli pari tuntia sitten, eikä se myöskään ole keltainen tai edes vihreä. 

Näillä siis mennään kunnes pääsen toukokuussa suomeen hakemaan mun Blonde paketin, en meinaa usko, että toista väriä uskallan kokeilla.

According to is one my natural colour should be fine with this one as it's in between dark blonde and medium brown.

Well, as you see you can spot dark bits still on the roots. It's lighter, but still there!

Aldo shoes

Heheeee I received my shoes from Aldo!

I love them! They both are actually really comfy and the size is perfect! I'm always so excited about new shoes... Anyway probably you're not too intrested of me telling how much I love them, so I'll just show you how they look instead.

Hehee vihdoinkin sain mun Aldon kengät postissa!

Ne on ihan mahdit ja tosi mukavat, kokokin on täydellinen. Oon aina niin innoissani kun saan uuden kenkä parin... Tosin en usko, että teitä kiinostaa mun hypetys niin paljon eli näytämpä suoraan miltä mun viimeisimmät hankinnot näyttää.

First pair are these cute peep toe shoes. I actually hate peep toes but I fell in love the design of these so I forgot about the stupid toes. They're perfect aren't they? And yes I know, studs are gone but I couldn't resist these beauties haha.

Ekana on nämä söpöt peep toe korot. Oikestaan vihaan kenkiä missä on peep toe, mutta näissä rakastuin tähän nilkkaremmi viritykseen jotenka unohdin koko varvas seikan. Täydelliset eikö vaan? Ja juu tiedän, että niitit on vanha juttu, mutta näiden kohdalla en voinut vastustaa.

Second I got these wedge styled heels. Reason I like these so much is because they're quite special looking with the design of the heel. You wont even notice the "plastic" unless you look close so on the first look they look like the  platform is just really kool shaped.

Toisena hankkisin nämä wedge tyyliset kiiltonahkaiset korkkarit.. Näihin rakastuin niiden erikoisen designin takia, läpinäkyvä "muovi" korossa ei oikeestaan näy paitsi läheltä katsottuna, eli kauempaa näyttää siltä, että plattari olisi vaan erikoisen mallinen.

Both of my new babies are good for shopping or going out, exactly what I looked for! Now, let me go and walk around my flat with them for the rest of the day! Cu!

Molemmat näistä on super mukavat kävellä ja sopii shoppailu reissulle tai ulos lähtemiseen... Eli siis nä on just ne mitä oon hakenut. Nyt ajattelin vaan kävellä nä vuorettelen jalassa ympäri kämppää loppu päivän ajan, joten nähdään!

On my way to work.

Yesterday I looked (atlast I had couple minutes free) trough all those pictures I copied from my mom's camera and found couple of nice ones. It's funny to look at pictures which some of them you didn't even know was taken.

Anyway it was a great four days so why not give it an extra post. Here you go, some more feelings from last weekend trough my mom's camera.

Eilen kattelin läpi kuvia jotka kopioin äitini kamerasta. Löysin useammankin kivan kuvan ja varsinkin kaikki ne kuvat joiden olemassa olosta en tiennyt on parhaita, jotenka tässä olis, pikakelaus viime viikonlopusta äidin silmin.

Tuesday, Natural History museum

Last day with my parents was great. We ended up to choose to go see Natural History museum and must say that if you're coming to London and have any spare time you should go too.

There's free entrace and we spent three hours walking around this massive building. Basically there's been shown and told about all kind of animals, evolution, space and skeletons of different agent creatures such as dinosaurs. It was amazing and we didn't even have time to go to couple of the rooms.

We finished our day by eating dinner in a new italian restaurant which opened lately to our next door.  Food was good and I think we should go again as at least it's not too far haha.

I'm still feeling sad that I had to say bye to my parents, today they're flying back to Finland. Well just couple months I'm goin there too, can't wait. Now I'm back to work and normal life, hehe, cu guys!

Eilen oli siis viimeinen päivä mun vanhempien kanssa ja me mentiin tutustumaan Natural History museoon. Taas kerran pakko sanoa, että jos tulet Lontooseen ja sulla on aikaa niin kannattaa mennä käymään.

Sisäänpääsy on ilmainen ja meillä meni kolme tuntia kierrellessä, eikä ehditty edes kaikkea nähdä. Lyhyesti kerrottuna siellä on esitelty kaikkia luonnon ihmeitä, eläimiä, kerrottu evoluttiosta ja avaruudesta, siellä on myös paljon erilaisten muinaisten (ja nykyisten) eläinten luurankoja ja jäänteitä, esimerkiksi dinosaurusten.

Päivän päätteeksi käytiin vielä syömössä italialaisessa ravintolassa joka aukes pari kuukautta sitten meidän naapuri rakennukseen. Ei paha paikka, pitää mennä toistekkin kun ei ainakaan ole pitkä matka!

Oli tosi surullista hyvästellä vanhemmat taas kerran... Pian taas onneksi lennän itse Suomeen, ei vaan jaksais odottaa. Nyt on aika palata töihin ja arkeen, nähdään siis!
